Keen to hunt down some more sales success, Jeep has updated the Jeep Cherokee range with a new Night Eagle special edition trim level.
It's based on the standard Longitude ‘Plus’ model, and costs from £36,795, featuring a range of cosmetic upgrades to give it an edgy look. It's available in four colours: Brilliant Black, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal.
It will be limited to 350 cars in the UK, and gets a new front badge with a grey finish, along with dark highlights on the fog light frames and black gloss roof bars. The car also features 18-inch black gloss alloy wheels and continues the darkened theme with tinted windows.
Inside there's a leather steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and and 8.4-inch screen for the infotainment system. Other kit includes a nine-speaker sound system, climate control, an electric tailgate, parking sensors, auto lights and auto wipers.
The Night Eagle has a 197bhp 2.2-litre diesel and a nine-speed automatic gearbox, returning 49.6mpg.
Jeep UK boss Damien Dally said: “The new Night Eagle version is particularly exclusive. With its rugged, sporting looks and excellent off-road capabilities, this limited edition newcomer will, I am sure, appeal to a whole new group of Jeep customers.”
