With the Tokyo Motor Show now out of the way, can enthusiasts and buyers alike can start looking forward to the 2015 LA Motor Show, which is lurking only a few weeks in the future.
On 17th of November the doors open to one of the most prominent automotive events in the US, and the eyes of the car world will descend on Los Angeles. Key cars at this year's LA Motor Show include the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, Fiat's version of the Mazda MX-5 - the 124 Spider - and the new LF-LC coupe from Lexus.
As always, we'll be out on the show floor bringing you the latest news stories, new models, images and video. Below is what we know so far about the key cars heading to the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show. We'll be updating this page regularly as we find out more about the new production cars and bold concepts that are set to star there...
LA Motor Show 2015: new cars A-to-Z
Fiat 124 Spider
It seems increasingly likely that Fiat will debut its new MX-5 based 124 Spider roadster at the LA show. Previous spyshots have shown that it gets a bold new exterior, with a longer bonnet and revised front and rear-ends. Engines are likely to be of the turbocharged variety, unlike the Mazda.
Infiniti QX30
We've just driven the standard Q30 hatch, but now Infiniti will be launching a jacked-up version called the QX30 based on the underpinnings of the Mercedes GLA. It'll be built in Sunderland in Nissan's plant alongside the Q30, and was shown at Geneva as a concept.
Lexus LF LC
Nothing is confirmed yet, but given that we've known Lexus is building a flagship coupe for a year now and we've recently seen spyshots of a more production-ready LF LC, there's a good chance we could be seeing the finished article at LA. We'll have to wait to find out more info about the BMW 6-Series rival.
Mercedes GLS
Merc's largest SUV - the GL-Class - is set for a revamp and rebrand as it becomes the GLS to fit in with the new Mercedes naming strategy. Leaked images show tweaked exterior styling, while we can also expect more up-to-date cabin tech and eventually a new plug-in hybrid offering.
Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport
Porsche confirmed we'd be seeing a hardcore Clubsport version of the already pretty racy Cayman GT4 at LA this year. It's strictly a track-only car for race homologation developed by Porsche Motorsport, but it will bring along a dual-clutch gearbox for the first time.
Range Rover Evoque Convertible
We've known about it for some time and seen a number of spyshots, but Land Rover will be launching it's new Evoque Convertible at the 2015 LA show. Adding a folding fabric soft top to the mix, the roofless SUV is set to go on sale in spring next year.
