Bentley has revealed a limited-run 'First Edition' version of the Mulsanne luxury saloon at the Beijing Motor Show. The Crewe firm's flagship gets unique trim and veneer to make it one of the most exclusive Bentleys around.

The Mulsanne First Edition doesn't get many alterations to the exterior, but there is some subtly unique badging on the 'Flying B' bonnet ornament. It's more about offering a first-class cabin.
For the First Edition, Bentley has sourced a 'Fulbeck' wood veneer from a super-rare 350-year-old English walnut tree. The wood, which only features in the Extended Wheelbase edition, achieved an undisclosed record price at a recent auction.
The Mulsanne also gets a bespoke Mulliner sterlink silver vanity kit created by Asprey of London, while special overlays on the picnic tables, treat plates and Union Jack seat embroidery also features. Customers can specify a champagne cooler, too.
Only 50 examples of the Mulsanne First Edition will be made, with the models split between the regular car, the fasted Speed and the Extended Wheelbase. It will be shown alongside a Mulliner-spec Bentayga and the new Flying Spur V8 S.
