A four-door, four-wheel-drive electric supercar from a new Swiss/German EV start-up has been teased ahead of its reveal, promising “the highest level of engineering and craftsmanship available” and limited to around 100 units.
The new car is the project of Elextra - another start-up electric car company angling to take on Tesla’s Model S P100D with an ultra-exclusive, luxurious, and supercar-baiting EV, alongside the likes of Faraday Future with its FF91 and the Lucid Motors Air.

Elextra has revealed very little about the car, but space for four people and a 0-62mph time under 2.3 seconds is promised thanks a four-wheel-drive electric powertrain.
The Elextra is the brainchild of Danish entrepreneur Poul Sohl and Swiss automotive designer Robert Palm, who says that the car will feature a “low, sleek and beautiful design paired with today’s most advanced technology.”
The EV will be built in Germany and will be “based upon the best electric vehicle platform in the world”, though the company has not yet revealed any of the technology underpinning the vehicle.
Three teaser images preview the car’s design. The side profile is a low wedge containing four-doors, while the front end boasts an angular, pointed nose. At the back, a large horizontal taillight spans the width of the vehicle, underneath two distinctive floating buttresses.
More details and pictures are promised over the coming months, though the Elextra won’t be present at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Speaking to Auto Express, the company said the car will not be revealed until next year at the earliest.
