British car modifier Kahn, famous for its outlandish SUVs, supercars and recently the Flying Huntsman 6x6 concept, is attempting to switch paths and become a luxury coachbuilder.
The ambitious plan will be spearheaded by the launch of a new two-door, retro British coupe called the Vengeance. Previewed by the teaser image, it will be constructed from hammer-formed aluminium in Coventry, West Midlands.
The Vengeance is tipped to be based on an Aston Martin, and while preliminary details are scarce, it looks set to adopt the classic long bonnet, cab-rearward design seen on other modern British coupes such as the Jaguar F-Type and Aston Vantage.
Kahn’s most recent design, the 430bhp Flying Huntsman 6x6, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March and based around the Land Rover Defender.
