Peugeot brings 'Roland Garros' name to special edition 108 city car, costing from £12,495

Peugeot has announced its dinky 108 city car will be getting the Roland Garros treatment with a new special edition model. Starting at £12,495, the Renault Twingo rival gets two distinct colours, bright paintwork additions and styling tweaks to the cabin. 

Peugeot fans who were around in the eighties may remember when it first sponsored the Roland Garros French Open tennis tournament. The brand has given us a whole host of Roland Garros special edition models over 30 years, with the 208 the latest to wear the badge.

The 108 follows on with the same styling updates as the 208 Roland Garros recieved, including orange door mirrors and the option of Diamond White or Raven Black paint. It's only available on the high-spec Allure 'TOP!' model which comes with an electric folding convertible roof.

Inside there's grey cloth upholstery with orange trim, white finishings on the dashboard and centre console and Roland Garros door mats. The 108's key is also finished in distinctive bright orange with similar badging.

The high level of spec includes climate control, 15-inch alloys with orange centre caps and keyless entry and start. it's availabel to order from Peugeot dealers now, and is only available with the larger 1.2-litre VTi petrol engine.
