As Tesla’s model range expands with the Model X just being delivered to owners, the Model S now with Ludicrous mode and the Model 3 due to be unveiled next year, a new site has just been launched to enable owners and fans to share model information and find it easily.
Teslapedia has been set up by the people behind Teslowjuice, the EV charger sharing network for Tesla owners, and already features articles ranging from advice for owners to extend the range of their electric cars to an analysis of the total cost of ownership of the Model S versus rivals.
Co-founder and Model S owner Adam Fawsitt told us: “There is an incredible sense of enthusiasm and community-spirit amongst Tesla owners (and prospective owners) and a huge amount of knowledge-sharing about vehicle functionality, experiences and lessons learned.
“We’ve created a place for people to find holistic, accurate and current information. Answers are often buried deep in forum threads and social media services and can be difficult to locate, so we’ve created a searchable database of curated articles, written by Tesla owners, for the use of Tesla enthusiasts all over the world.”
Tesla’s latest version 7.0 software update has just added Autopilot to Model S cars, giving owners autonomous driving features including automatic lane changing on motorways.
