Ultra-luxury brands are known for offering a wide range of interior options, but Bentley has gone down a rocky path with its new nature-inspired Mulliner cabin upgrades.
Customers can now opt for stone dash veneers in a variety of colours on both the Continental coupe and Flying Spur saloon. It's made from a combination of slate and quartzite stone sustainably-sourced from India, and cured with glass-fibre and a bespoke resin.
Despite its appearance the facia veneer is only 0.1mm thick, which Bentley says makes it extremely light and translucent so the pattern is visible underneath. Four colours are offered: Galaxy, Autumn White, Terra Red and Copper.
Well-heeled buyers are advised to consult with Bentley's in-house coachbuilders in Crewe, Mulliner, to perfect the exact design and any unique requirements. No prices are quoted, however, so be prepared to pay a premium.
