Alongside the regular new SpaceTourer MPV based on Citroen's new mid-size panel van, the brand has unveiled a bold concept dubbed the Citroen SpaceTourer HYPHEN. Named after the French pop group HYPHEN HYPHEN, it'll make its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The French firm has partnered with the electronic pop group to produce the HYPHEN concept, which gets a rugged exterior design, chunky body protection and a fading two-tone paint scheme. Citroen claims it is both "protective and welcoming".
Inside, things get seriously lurid, with bright white, orange and green upholstery throughout. A divided green and orange dash colour even follows on to the roof, while Nappa leather gives it a more exclusive feel.
Under the skin the regular BlueHDI 150 diesel engine get boosted by the addition of on-demand four-wheel drive. It's not clear yet how many of these changes will make it onto the production van, but we expect that the latter's powertrain will transfer over.
