A new Suzuki Swift is on the way in 2017, and pictures from a dealer conference have been leaked showing the sharp new look for Suzuki's supermini.
While the Swift's distinctive silhouette remains, there's a new set of headlights, a tweaked grille and large air vents around the fog lights on the front bumper. At the back there's a floating roofline thanks to a darkened C-pillar, plus quirky taillights and a prominent crease over the tailgate. The five-door model gets hidden door handles too, which give it a sportier look in profile.
It's likely to get a new 1.0-litre petrol engine in entry-level models, with the Swift Sport getting a 1.4-litre petrol with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Sport will follow the standard version later on in 2017, and should get a number of upgrades to suspension, brakes and steering to make it better to drive than before.
There are few other details on the new Swift at the moment, but we expect it to appear at the end of 2016 in production form, ahead of a launch in early 2017.
