Toyota has launched a new version of the Yaris supermini called the Yaris Orange Edition and it’s on sale now priced from £15,795.
As the name suggests, the Orange Edition is finished in bright ‘Orange Twist’ metallic paint, which contrasts with black detailing found on the door mirror casings, rear pillar and side sills. Toyota has complemented this with 16-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and a panoramic roof.
In the cabin, the orange-on-black colour theme continues. Black carpets feature colour contrast orange stitching. A black instrument panel is accompanied with a piano black finish to the air vents, centre console and gear knob.
The specification builds on that of the current Toyota Yaris Icon model, adding several extras including a touchscreen multimedia system equipped with reversing camera, cruise control and LED daytime running lights.
Available only as a five-door model, the Yaris Orange Edition can be ordered with petrol, diesel or hybrid powertrains. There’s also a choice of manual and automatic CVT transmissions, depending on the engine.
The petrol engine is a 1.33 litre VVT-i unit priced at £15,795 with a manual gearbox, the automatic commanding a £1,000 premium. Priced at £17,425, the diesel features a 1.4 litre D-4D unit, only offered in manual transmission. Lastly, the hybrid, costing £17,995, has a 1.5 VVT-i engine paired to an automatic transmission.
