Wild new Mansory G500 4x4² unveiled with 478bhp ~ station of gear

German tuning company Mansory have pimped up the G500 4x4² to make a Mercedes G-Class like no other

Mansory have taken last year’s distinctive G500 4x4² and applied a raft of modifications to further increase its unique appeal. The current 4x4² costs around €226,100 in Germany but there is no word on price or availability for this version.

From the front the heavily modified Mercedes G-Class has been adorned in carbon fibre with bespoke headlight surrounds, grille and a spoiler with a large air intake. Extra LED running lights add to the stand out look.

The carbon fibre theme continues along the side with new mirror housings, wheel arches and door handles. The same material is again used for the roof and rear trim to complete the radical appearance.

Inside Mansory have re-upholstered the quilted leather seats and added stitching to complement the exterior paintwork. Carbon fibre is once again utilised for the 4x4² dashboard and door trims along with covering the sports steering wheel and handbrake. Mercedes' COMAND controller and gear lever are almost the only areas left untouched.

Under the bonnet a ‘Powerbox’ has been installed, which combined with a sport exhaust system boosts engine power to 478bhp, up 63bhp from before. Torque sees an increase by 110Nm taking things up to 710Nm. Mansory haven’t released any economy or emissions figures, presumably because this will be low down on the priority list for their exclusive clientele!
