The Pagani Huayra Roadster was rumoured to be in the pipeline for a while now, and the brand has finally confirmed that the drop-top hypercar is on the way. A post on the Pagani Facebook page has given a glimpse at the Roadster lettering, though there are no further details as yet.
We expect the same 720bhp twin-turbocharged Mercedes V12 to feature under the bonnet, taking the Pagani roadster up to around 225mph - making it one of the fastest open-top cars in the world.
The Huayra is made using carbon-fibre and features an active aerodynamic system that can adjust the ride height at the front and rear of the car independently, and adjust the spoilers for more or less downforce as it's needed.
The latest Huayra BC edition ramps the power up by 10 per cent, though we expect the Roadster model to have similar figures to the standard version rather than this limited-edition version - at least at first.
We'll have more details on the Huayra Roadster in the run-up to this year's Geneva Motor Show.
