The new Volvo XC40 styling packs brings bigger wheels, a tougher bodykit and a subtle spoiler

Volvo XC40 styling kit

The Volvo XC40 has already established itself at the more stylish end of the small SUV crowd, with a varied colour pallet and plenty of customisation options. But Volvo thinks there’s scope for further personalisation.

That’s why a new exterior styling kit for the firm’s Audi Q3 rival has now arrived, introducing a subtle bodykit, a new rear spoiler and a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

The wheels themselves are already available as £1,950 options on R-Design models and as an £1,400 extra on the range topping Inscription Pro XC40. The 21-inch design features five diamond cut, triple spoke arms.

Elsewhere, the car is bolstered by the addition of stainless steel body trim. At the front, it wraps around the lower grille, while the side mouldings underneath the doors are altered, too. The final piece of kit is the subtle new rear spoiler sitting atop the boot lid.

The kit won't be reserved solely for high-end models like the Inscription and sporty R-Design, and will be offered on every trim level. Volvo has confirmed that the package will be priced at £2,285, and it will be available to order from June this year.
