Porsche announces full pricing and performance specs for the new turbocharged Carrera 4 and Targa models

Porsche has released further pricing and performance details for the facelifted and turbocharged 911 range, now including the Carrera 4 and Targa 4 models. The rear-engined sports car starts from £76,412, with the latest additions asking £81,398 and £90,240 respectively.

The four-wheel drive Carrera gets 365bhp and 450Nm of torque from a newly developed 3.0-litre straight-six, enough to fire it from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds, four-tenths faster than the old naturally aspirated car and a tenth quicker than the rear-wheel drive Carrera.

The Carrera 4S, which kicks off at £90,843, boasts 414bhp and goes from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, three-tenths faster than before. The 4S Cabriolet asks a hefty premium, priced from £99,684 – the same amount as the Targa 4S.
