Suzuki has been busy at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, longside the new Ignis and Ignis Trail concept, it's displaying the new Mighty Deck concept.
The compact pick-up remains purely a motor show centerpiece rather than a future production model and is described as an ‘urban, fun –orientated minicar.’ It features a pick-up style loading bay and canvas roof. The rear deck can also be raised or lowered and features a hidden storage compartment.
The Mighty Deck has the dinky proportions of a Japanese Kei car with squared off panels and boxy dimensions. Inside, the cabin has been stripped back and features a minimalist but modern design. There’s a square steering wheel, wooden dashboard and plenty of brushed aluminium detailing.
Suzuki didn’t reveal any details on the powertrain as there are no plans for production, not even in Japan.
