A new concept car from Genesis, the new upmarket brand intorduced by Hyundai, has been announced in this teaser picture ahead of its full reveal at the New York Motor Show next week.
The car is described as a four-door sports sedan, which hints at a rival for the BMW 3 Series - a G70 to sit below the larger G90 and G80 in the brand's line-up. Genesis also says the concept previews the future designs of its cars.
The teaser pic shows a sporty-looking front end with slim headlights, an agressive-looking large grille with dramatic air vents at each side and a bulging bonnet. The winged Genesis badge sits on the nose above the grille, and there are large wheelarches and a front spoiler too.
Manfred Fitzgerald, head of the Genesis brand, said: "The New York Concept is a progressive concept car that showcases the design quality of the brand. With its expressive volumes and refined design, the New York Concept truly embodies the athletic elegance, which characterizes Genesis products."
The concept will be revealed in full at the New York Motor Show next week, and we'll have all the details then.
