Fresh spec for small SUV as Dacia spruces up outgoing model’s range ahead of all new Duster’s arrival later this year

The Dacia Duster may be due for imminent replacement, but that hasn’t stopped its makers from adding two new trim levels to the Duster range.

The new Air and Nav+ trims essentially replace the Ambiance, Laureate and Prestige models – though entry-level Access trim remains.

The Duster Air is available from £10,995 – around £1,500 mode than the Access model – and brings air conditioning, a DAB radio, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, 16-inch wheels, body-coloured bumpers, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, plus electric front windows.

As the new top-spec model, Nav+ starts at £13,905 and brings, as its name suggests, sat nav, as well as a seven-inch touchscreen system, a reversing camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, all-round electric windows, a trip computer, upgraded cloth upholstery and heated, power adjustable wing mirrors.

The Air essentially replaces the Duster Ambiance but brings more kit, while the Nav+ model replaces the Laureate and Prestige models – offering more equipment than Laureate, and a lower price point than Prestige.

The Duster Air, like the Access model, is available with a 113bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, while the Nav+ is offered the a turbocharged 123bhp petrol engine or a 108bhp 1.5-litre diesel.

The Duster Air and Nav+ are available to order now, with deliveries expected in April. The all-new Duster, meanwhile, is expected to go on sale in mid-summer.
