Lexus has released full pricing details for its new RC coupe and it's available to order now from £34,995. The standard RC will sit alongside the hot Lexus RC F in the range with two powertrains, and customer deliveries will begin in January.
The RC range consists of a 2.5-litre RC 300h petrol-electric hybrid and a 241bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol RC 200t, with three trim levels: Luxury, F Sport and Premier.
The entry-level Luxury grade (only available with the RC 300h hybrid) comes as standard with LED headlights, parking sensors, Smart Entry and push button start, dual-zone climate control, electric heated front seats, leather upholstery and cruise control. It also comes with the firm’s Drive Mode Select, which adjusts performance to suit conditions or driver preference, with Eco, Normal and Sport modes.
The F Sport models (effectively the base trim on the RC200t) add to that a sportier front and rear bumper design, LED headlights in a signature “triple L” arrangement (with Automatic High Beam function), Adaptive Variable Suspension and, on the turbo petrol, a limited-slip differential. The Drive Mode Select system adds a fourth Sport+ mode with additional chassis control.
The top-spec Premier grade includes Lexus Premium Navigation, a Mark Levinson sound system, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Keep Assist.The three new grades all feature unique alloy wheel designs: five-spoke 18-inch for the RC 300h Luxury; multi-spoke 19-inch for the F Sport; and 10-spoke 19-inch rims for the Premier.
Individual prices for models are: £36,495 for RC200t F Sport, £39,495 for RC200t Premier, £34,995 for RC300h Luxury, £37,495 for RC300h F Sport and £40,495 for RC300h Premier which tops the range.
