There’s the odd 2004 car available on BMW’s used scheme, but most are no more than 10 years old and have done less than 100,000 miles. Prices start at under £5,000, yet whatever the age, spec or mileage, there’s a 12-month warranty and breakdown cover; more if the car still has its original guarantee.
All approved used BMWs go through a 120-point inspection, including mileage, history and finance checks. If a car bought through the scheme fails its MoT within 12 months, BMW will cover the cost of getting it passed. Buyers can also take out a two-year service package, as long as the car hasn’t covered more than 120,000 miles by the end of the plan.
