Ultra-exclusive Bentley’s models are still out of reach for most people, but it now builds far more cars than it used to. As a result there’s a steady supply of second-hand examples available via the Pre-Owned Bentley programme. As we went to press there were just over 300 cars to pick from in the UK (the scheme is global), kicking off with a 2004 Continental GT for £34,950.
Before sale, every approved used Bentley is checked rigorously to ensure all parts are in good condition; the result is a 12-month unlimited-mileage warranty. Also included is breakdown cover with home start, repatriation and car hire, onward travel or accommodation costs. Other benefits stretch to a subscription to the Bentley owners’ magazine, access to exclusive dealer events and a guided tour of the Crewe factory in Cheshire.
